As Founder & Director of Fityah Institute, Mohammed Yahya leads the institute’s educational direction, shaping programmes, developing learning pathways, and ensuring the work stays rooted in authentic scholarship and real-world relevance. His focus is formation: turning learning into clarity, discipline, and long-term purpose.

  • ʿĀlim Graduate (Islamic Dawah Academy, 2021): forming the foundation of his teaching and mission.

  • Trainee Counsellor: committed to emotional and spiritual wellbeing

  • MA Candidate in Islamic Education (University of Warwick) bridging classical tradition with contemporary educational thought

Overview:

As Co-Founder of Fityah Institute, Maulana Habib brings warmth, clarity, and a strong public voice to the institute’s mission. Known for his calm approach and powerful delivery, he plays a key role in delivering transformative education that connects young Muslims to scholarship with confidence and relevance.

Background:

• Alimiyyah graduate (Darul Uloom Bury)

• Further studies in Turkey under senior Islamic scholars

• Master’s in Islamic Education (University of Warwick), demonstrating deep commitment to effective teaching and lifelong learning

Currently:

• Leads Nikah Hub, supporting couples through marriage guidance and conflict resolution

• Youth Engagement Officer at the British Muslim Heritage Centre

• Arabic instructor at As-Suffah Institute (online)

• Delivering sessions on the Arabic Intensive Programme

• Delivers lessons and khutbahs across various mosques and institutes
